Textbooks

Christy Walters, the author of our textbooks, has been a successful private tutor for over 15 years. Over this time, she has worked with countless students struggling with mathematics, and she has recognized a common theme. While it is true that some people are naturally better at math than others, she has found that almost anybody can learn Algebra given enough time attention and proper instruction. However, parents (and especially homeschooling parents) often find themselves at a loss when the day comes that the student needs to learn high school math.
The average textbook is written by math experts to tend to explain concepts from their perspective. That's good enough for those who are good at math, but students and parents who are not confident in their math skills need a book that speaks to them. Our books have a friendly, conversational tone that puts distraught students (and parents) at ease while giving more detailed and step-by-step explanations than you find in most textbooks. They are great resources for review, additional study, self-instruction, or as part of your homeschooling curriculum.
We believe that our textbooks are the best high school books on the market today, but don't take our word for it. Read what others have had to say by clicking the links below.
